Hi Guys

Heading to Gizzy for a few days at the end of June and want to check out the riding there, anybody from gizzy hang out on Vorb or anybody been there recently?

I come from that area so I know it pretty well but havent lived or biked there for over 6 years, I'd say things have changed a bit (I hope Hmmmm )

If anyones got some advise that would be cool. Wink

Thanks in advance Double Thumbs Up

I was talking with a guy from City Cycles (may have been the mechanic) who talked about a trail that sounded fairly decent and was close-ish to town. Here's the details:

City Cycles - 103 Wainui Rd Gisborne - 0-6-867 3677

Why?
The Bikeys shop is new in town and is owned run by Freddy, who rode at World Champs recently.

Currently we are setting up new tracks around Kaiti Hill ... so stay tuned .. finally going to get some decent rides close to town.

Not a legal one and nothing like is being planned.

Freddy has a GPS from Council and DOC helping to map it out.

There is going to be an awesonme network once things are completed, far far better than Fox St and all legit!

Pop into Bikeys in Peel st and check out the Maps Freedy has in there.

At the moment its mainly a light XC track, but downhill are planned. Pplus Freedy is in the process of setting up an inter club downhill race.

Plus, while in there, sign the Form at the desk. We need 15 signatures to create ourselves a fully fledged MTB Club.
