Was a very sad day indeed yesterday, I attended the funeral, I used to ride a couple years back when I lived in Wanganui and he was the driving force behind wanganui mtb clubs trailer days, I will miss going to them even more now that he is gone.
I am also a friend of his son and will miss the times he would come pick us up from town at 3am in the morning when we were trollied off our faces, he loved to hang around with us and was very proud of his son, he had a great sense of humor and was always making people laugh around him.
RIP "Old Boy"
You will be missed.
(but at least when we make it to the afterlife there will certainly be some sweet trailerdays running )
