Hey everyone,

For a long time a lot of you mountain bikers have been moaning and groaning at school that you haven't had anywhere to build jumps or obstacles to ride over. Well, now you have a chance! If you belong to the Whakatane MTB Club you will have recieved an e-mail from Toby Bach, president of the club, asking for people to submit ideas/plans for jumps and obstacles. So, what are you wating for? Stop moaning, get moving and email him some ideas!!! (The email addy is toby[at]realfinancialsolutions.co.nz)

Also, go along to the working bees - there are regular email updates of when these are happening - and help to build some awesome tracks. You might even be able to encorporate some jumps into these tracks.

The working bees are fun, and you get to be the first people to ride the tracks! Hint: there is usually good biscuits and food afterwards too!
So dont wait around at home wishing there were cool local tracks to ride. Help build them instead!!
