...ok - so the weather may be a bunch of esra, but is anyone else interested in a wee pottle around in the mud. I'm not sure where I might go yet - probably from brooklyn over to makara peak (via deliverance for extra giggles), but I'm open to other suggestions (Mt Vic is a possibility...)
Probably looking for a start around 11am or so...

yeah, I'll be on for that.
I'll aim to be up at the wind turbine for midday (plan to watch the live Tour tonight, so any earlier might be a struggle!).
I plan to head over makara way and bez around until I get too wet and cold and fall off too many times. Need to put some kms in before a 50km race up in Taupo next weekend.

Yeah I think Charmer is keen for a ride, she doesnt ever clean her bike, so she doesnt worry about mud!
What about Makara at about 1ish?

1 it is, for I have been watching the tour and young thomas is my new hero (oooh pulling my stockings on) and he's so handsome (pulling them back off again)
And I feel like getting all dirty and stuff. I might go for a ride as well.
Will bring sapre pedals for Kah if he's lucky

Well - vorby was down, so I went out by myself. Talk about karmic reward for trackbuilding last week - the day was perfectly clear - not a cloud in the skies.
The tracks weren't too muddy either - although the streams on deliverance were rather high. So - over the wind turbine, down deliverance, up salvation, down burrows ave, talk to mudzy for a bit (leaving mud all over his floor, which he was really happy for), back up salvation, down scout hall, across to the sanctuary office (the water was about 10cm above the level of the bridge under the dam), and up the rollercoaster.
All goodness...

There was some muttering about shuttling at the end of the lightweights ride last weekend.
We would need to do some logistical stuff (like find a shuttle wagon, no tow bar on my car!) but it should be do-able.
Anyone keen for tomorrow?
