I wonder if we can get a 30-33yr class. I might finally get on the podium. |
Masters 1 1/3 ??

Chris is always telling me I should man up and ride senior men so we can go head to head. I always tell him it's better for my racing to be in a faster, more competitive field
If he'd actually bother turning up to round one for a change I may have actually considered it ...

I vote for a over 35, SS rigid class. Preferably orange bikes only too, then I might get somewhere.

Na, it's Matt. Dean was in the rocket grade. (if you are talking about the other orange raleigh xxix) He did well to podium in 3rd, but the results now say he came 4th - very confusing.
Much simpler to have the old geezer orange ss class. One of us is bound to win it.

did you have a carbon fork on yours? I have one of those Raleigh's too, but was too distracted by marshalling duties to properly ogle the bikes. I have a feeling there was a different (black?) fork on one of them though!

I saw you Matt. You let me sneak through on a narrow section of some climb. I noticed your ss as I fancy one of those. I met you and ogled it at Wainui ride recently.

Yeah, got some white bros rock solids. Same height as the originals, but about 800g lighter. I've changed too much on the front end to say whether the forks themselves have made much diff to the handling, but the weight saving was worth it. Pretty cheap too, $299 from Bike HQ.
And yes, I saw you too Dave. Pretty hard to miss you with those 'sexy' pants flying past!! You did a ferkin fast time, SS and all - must be the denim!

That photo of Clive had better not really be taken at wet feet - he'll be livid if you were standing there and didn't say anything

Thought so. Did I spy someone with a big SLR at the same spot where your one of OC was taken? I actualy thought I may have been spotted with both my wheels off the ground at that point!
