They do this in Sth Australia too... it would be a very good policy!

I got a reply from the V people..

"I have passed your email on to the Environmental Manager, for his consideration; however numerous other beverages are also packed in glass, which is the premium container of choice for many people in terms of purity and recyclability. We manufacture the product and encourage responsible recycling of the bottles and certainly agree with you that it is a shame people litter our country with all kinds of debris.
