My daughter is up for a new bike and I am considering a Spark 20 or 24 depending upon the fit:

Are there any parents or young vorbii out there which have any experience with these bikes as I have a few questions:

1. Does the rear suspension do anything or is it just there for looks?

2. Do these bikes have a standard sized headset which would enable the stem to be changed if needed?

3. Does anyone know who might have one in stock for us in BOP, Waikato or Auckland to have a look at?

4. Overall is it a good bike, or are there others which are a better option?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

no idea about how good the smaller bike is, but try bikesmith in auckland. They have one on the latest specials list.

The suspension certainly doesn't look like a gimmick!
Availability will be your biggest hurdle...
