The biggest problem in Vic park is the exit strategy. Even if there was a wet track, or a well built all weather track, the constraining factor is going to be access to the exit road once it gets too wet and the farmer displeased with the increased erosion.

So before the effort goes in to building a wet track or armoring existing tracks it might be worth checking out whether Vic park will be kept open once the real rain and snow comes anyway.

Worsleys seems like a good option, or find a different way to exit Lava Flow just after the fun rock sections finish that keeps riders off the 4wd track until passed the worse affected areas.

Wet track aside, a way to exit Vic park when the upper tracks are good but the bottom 4wd track is still too wet would be pretty nice. Probably would not be much of a shuttle option though since some uphill will be involved.

Your a smart chap. You bring up very good points and you are spot on, only building anything on the lava flow side of the valley, especially a wet track is out due to "visual impact" i.e i fyou can see it from anywhere on the hill its a no-go.

Ok so Worseleys could be an option - cool, that sorta makes sense.

Are we still meeting tommorrow at 10:30 for a get together and look / discuss the options ?

So, it turns out the official word is that there will be no new wet line but there are some other cool tracks coming up to make summer a bit more exciting...
