I have a stinky with alex rims and a specialized tubeless tyre the tyre is 26 X 2.40 could it take a minion dhf. My mates said it wouldnt but some said it will

Some tyre/rim combinations are a tight fit. Sun rims were always on the large side so DH tyres were a mission to mount.
Maybe they know of someone who had an Alex rim at the large end of tolerance or a tight Minion*.
Maybe they just needed a set of Park DH tyre levers?
