Does anybody have experience building a rear wheel for a Demo 8? I know it's an offset frame of 6mm but I don't know how to figure the spoke calc? DT Swiss one online doesn't seem to allow for this variable.

I can re-dish a wheel from centre but would prefer to start out with the correct spoke lengths if poss.

Ideas?

Just move the flange distances 6mm off centre and re-calculate.
ie. move hub in relation to the rim Wink

if you're generous with the non-drive spoke length (ie make sure to round up instead of down) you'll be fine. It's only a turn or two over.

Thanks, the shifting the hub in the equation theory sounds good.

I read Barnett's Manual last night and it gave me a formula for correcting dish error.

Gap at rim in mm's / 8 = number of turns at nipple to correct. Then it's a matter of measuring spoke tension on both sides of the wheel to determine whether to tighten or loosen to correct.

Will scratch my beard a bit more before I get too busy.
