{Posted via mobile.vorb.org.nz} I'd be interested to see Joe Cooper, Scott Lyttle or my brother go round at full noise as they are all better riders than me

{Posted via mobile.vorb.org.nz} Went round last night (bit sketchy in some parts in the dark!).

Was just over 48 minutes, not sure of average speed as my Polar speed sensor needs a battery.

I have done it today on my mountain bike and not happy at all of my time: 1 hour and 21 minutes for the 33 km. I have never ridden a road bike. Any idea what is the time difference for this ride between a road and a mountain bike, same rider of course Smile please?

It was a bit tough out there today with the southerly. I did it in 1 hour 14 mins on my road bike - wasn't going sifty but wasn't going at race pace either - so I imagine you'd be faster than me on a roadie Smile

Thanks psychavoc. Yes it was tough especially between Seatoun and Moa Point. The wind direction was more favorable by the airport and up Happy Valley Road.
