Hi Tugboat,

Is it possible (subject to fitting in with important stuff like work) to list those who you have received entries from?

Cheers, Spyder

Nice choices! Kirchen and Devolder are names I should probably have had on my list, and good to see you rate Gerrans as a consistent finisher. He's class.

I can't believe I'm the only one with the faith to put Julian Dean in my top 10.

Come on NZ with all the comments you have said about his prowess lately you of all people should have faith.

Tut Tut. Hypocrites

I still believe he will take a stage, but I don't see him taking the Maillot Vert or as being in the top 10 most consistent finishers for the whole Tour, so didn't add him to those categories.

Not hypocritical, just making the call as I see it. As you know, I wish him every success.

This bit was a more interesting challenge than the jerseys, because it's not something that any rider really starts out aiming for....the logic with Gerrans is that he's kind of due to fulfill that "next big thing" tag, and should be extra motivated to prove that Evans isn't the only Aussie to watch.

Other than that, key domestiques and stronger riders from minor teams looking for a bit of publicity...

My only worry about picking the guys from little teams after publicity is that they tend to lurk at 150th all Tour asides from 1 stage win!

Is Mick Rogers riding, Oli?

I reckon Lambretta's line-up is pretty good too. The logic of guys who are super-domestics or who are from smaller teams that won't necessarily be in the headlines but still there or thereabouts could pay-off.

The tactic of just picking GC contenders who'll pick up the bulk of their points on the key mountain stages and TTs may backfire on a couple of people (or at least I hope it does).
