Okay. Yesterday we had a cracker of a day. Had about 10 of us up there shifting dirts and shaping the jumps.

In the morning, we managed to get the log jump shaped up a bit better than the digger did. At least now you can actuially jump it. We also built a small pump double in the run up, in the easy line. The plan is to build a bigger kicker further back, and use the log table as a landing. Should be wicked.

Couple of other guys fixed up a berm further up. Good little tech section is forming, with the log drop into tree roots into drop to berm. All easy to ride slowly, bu becomes interesting at pace.

After a quick spot of lunch (parc directions to a fish & chip shop had me buying Pizza instead), we headed back up the track.

The afternoons mission was to get the first big double sorted. We only had one wheelbarrow, so moving dirt was quite a mission. We managed to get the takeoff reasonably shaped up. It will take a few days of good weather to firm it up, as we are building using clay. We also added some more dirt to the landing. It needs more backfilling for safety, but will still be around a 4-5m double from takeoff to landing.

At around 4, a few of the guys had a bit of a ride. Some interesting lines starting to shine through. Looking forward to really getting some runs in, once the jump has fully hardened.

Cheers guys for a great day. I will be posting the photos up tonight. Keep an eye out for next dig day in two weeks time.
