There's so much pressure to do things the "right" way which is just going to lead to more stress. I suspect it's a natural human reaction to a high-stress situation - you want to cling to any kind of plan/method that might bring some order to the chaos. The fact of the matter is that with a new baby you've both just got to work it out together.

As I have a rather dry sense of humour I have already got these t shirts for my son
'Mine is a bottle of house white'
'Party- my cot, 3am, bring a bottle'
'It started with a kiss...'
This website has some more funny ones for the parents.

Isla slept til 6.30 this morning, so the family has (finally) recoveed from Jet lag, thank kcuf...
She's currently going through (another) "Mummy" phase, so I can do no right, but I'm just holding onto the memory of her sleeping on my chest for about half the flight from Vancouver to Auckland...

Yeah our second son had terrible reflux and we put him on thickened formula - the difference was night and day. |
Dr brown bottles are another thing to try if reflux is affecting your baby, they help my nephew.
