just replaced the pads in a set of juicy 5s.  the lever feel was alright before i replaced them, but now the lever pulls all ...

Something a shop showed me recently, if you're juicys are feeling a little spongy to check if they are low on oil simply stand bike vertically on it's rear wheel and if the brake lever comes into handlebar easily it means the system has low oil level

Uh, no. Don't take the caps off unless you are rebuilding the lever. If you do, you will just spill fluid everywhere and have to bleed the brakes for sure...
