Nice one Justin, there are so many guys are on form this year its a good effort to be in the top 10! Any of those guys are fast enough to win a world cup, when Sam Hill doesn't turn up to race to thrill his mass legions of fanboys Double Thumbs Up
Fixxed for you

Lol I was gonna write something like "by win, I mean 2nd, since Sam Hill already has 1st place booked for the rest of the season"

qualifying was tight too, something dratered like 14 seconds difference between the top 80, Blair Christmas was 23 seconds behind first and didn't make it...

Sam Hill's run was amazing! What a super-star... (cheers for the video link)

Leov did damn well, and Blenkinsop is worth a mention too - 31st in a race of that level at only 18 or 19 years old - watch this space, that kid is gonna win some races! Aotearoa represent!

31st is pretty pedestian by his standards haha, didn't he pull a 9th at the worlds last year? Or was it the last round of the world cup last year, I forget. Either way he's going places

9th at worlds, can't remember where he placed at Maribor last year. He seeded something like 8th at Champery, the hardest race of the year (or ever) and 2nd at the wheels of speed (practically a world cup) So he's definitely top 10 material. I wouldn't worry too much about this result, he'll be pulling some big results soon.

The World Cup is on already. The one off World Champs are later in the year.
Confusing I know, but our own NZ Nationals are run the same (so are many other sports) with a National series, and a one off National Champs.

greg minnar won the world cup overall when he was ONLY19 years old, SB should be doing way better the 31st place by now (4th season on the WC curcut) Hmmmm
