Got a shedload of respect for all those huckers who have the determination and the guts to go airborne off structures that look like my old garden shed - only wish I had the stones to go for it myself but...
What i do get all f*#%#d off about are those who having done a jump on a trail think its OK to just turn their a#*@s round and come humping back up the trail pushing their half tonne bike and staring at their feet coz they're too shagged to look where they're going!!!
All this being done in full view of a bunch of their dumba** grom mates standing around at the top of the trail and taking the p*##.
TWICE today, TWICE
OK, I've had the rant I promised myself as I finished my ride, feeling better now
I had a similar experience but in almost reversed circumstances yesterday there.
Me = old guy who likes to jump a bit; grom on a cross country bike.
I was running down to the Candy Store retaining wall step down when a grom on a cross country bike stops and turns to completely block the step down, despite there being a sign there that says "Jumpers Access. Keep Clear" . Should have just run in to him, but then I would have had to spend the afternoon cleaning grom off my bike...

there should be an automatic delete button on vorb to delete this grom langauge! ssip off back to your high chair grommies and learn some english.
i'm trying to employ workers at the moment and on one of the cover letters to their CV they had written in text langauge. WTF!!

So you are saying that you have ridden at woodhill because you have seen all this with your own eyes, plus you must have been riding on a cross country bike in spandex or you are completly ignorant and your head is very swollen with the love you have for yourself ?

I meant that woodhill for xc and hardtail dj bikes are good but... anyone ther on a downhill / freeride bike is a munter because there is no hills ther just hucks to flat

I thought that riding your bike no matter what kind of bike it is, is the important thing, I ride my 8.5inch foes around my driveway on the flat when i'm looking after my kid since my time is limited and ride my hardtail jump bike to work with the seat up, guess that must make me a munter.there is plenty of riding at woodhill for big bikes and you can improve your skills, especially for jumping. Sure woodhill does not have alot of steep stuff but how many jumps do you have at dome or maritai on a run 2max. It's good to ride at alot of different places if you can because that will improve your riding (even woodhill).
