Can anyone recommend a good program to edit the video and compress it for uploading? The source video is about 550MB.

Hi
I find Virtualdub to be effective.. I use that to process vid from my handycam to vids of a practical size.
I've had little experience with avidemux (only used to to convert mov to avi for use on my ipoddey thingy) Might be worth a looksee..
