12.48 for me tonight  Accompanied by a maniacally cheesy grin and some rather profuse sweating. Good fun but I'm still losing and I went mega hard out. SIGH.

Climb starts from the 'Pick Your Own Grapefruit' sign, and ends at the entrance to Summerhill.

I was at Reid Rd at about 6:30. I had ridden from town via Welcome Bay Rd.

I was doing Reid Road around that time too. Did I pass you at the top just as I was coming down and you'd just got to the summit? (me, giant bike, maroon shirt and emo glasses).

Possibly, everything was a bit blurry by then. If I was collapsed over the bars gasping for breath then yes - it was me. On an old blue Avanti.

I gotta get back on a bike again soon, thats a good carrot to chase gibbo. Hope I can find some kind of climbing form by the end of April.

For something in particular at the end of April? This thread has certainly motivated me to the point that I can't possibly bike past Reid Road without doing a lap or two hah.

Singlespeed champs. I was doing so much riding through December/January, and feeling really strong. But we just got a newborn, arrived 3 weeks ago, things are still a bit crazy.

That may have been an oxygen depleted induced high, or a grimace of pain.
