hay im going up to palmerston north for x mas and was wondering if there are  any good dh tracks that you dont need keys for.

Depends how fit you are. Nothing hard, usually takes us around 20 minsr to the clearing which is where we ride down to each time, and about 20-30mins from the clearing to the top

Not very long, you would want to do about three. Thats what we do, takes us 2-3 hours but we just muck around

its about a 25 min push from the bottom if you walk up the XC track coz its too hard walking up the dh track.

w3rd, walking up the XC is a silly idea, its only really the very bottom bit from the bridge that is at all hard on the DH side (to walk up)

Hell I've ridden my DH bike up the XC (and its faster to walk up the DH side)

Up untill the double i find that the xc track i make the fastest time becuase it is more consistant. saying that the only real challenge is the first switch backs becuase they are so rocky and youve got to weave/lift your bike up the rocks.

yea i was meaning walking up the xc track on the left hand side as u walk up from the bottom which comes out next to the POOL, not walking around the entire loop. F@#k that tihs that would take ages.
