Summer is upon us so it's time for the Vorb Video Competition. This year sees an interesting twist with multiple chances to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes. Each entry must feature only one New Zealand rider and entries will be judged on filmmaking and riding style in two separate sections by panels of well-known judges. Think of it as making a video C.V. showing off your riding and/or filmmaking skills.
SRAM RIDER SCHOLARSHIP
The top three riders as voted for by a judging panel of well-known mountain bikers will receive SRAM Scholarships of their choice of SRAM componentry to help them with their riding.
Gold - $2,000(RRP) SRAM gear of their choice
Silver - $1,000(RRP) SRAM gear of their choice
Bronze - $500(RRP) SRAM gear of their choice
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your riding talent, gain valuable exposure, and score yourself enough SRAM gear to bling your bike out. Winners of the SRAM Scholarship will be required to submit an additional video showing them using their SRAM componentry. Thank you to SRAM for recognising and supporting emerging talent in our community.

NOTE ON RIDING STYLES
Don't be misled into thinking that this is a competition solely for dirtjumpers and freeriders. All riding styles (yes, even road) are welcome and the rider judging panel includes downhill, freeride, cross country and trail riders and racers. If you don't believe us check out last years winner from Ben Conway which was a cross country themed video featuring one rider [CLICK TO VIEW].
