Afternoon All

A massive thanks to the lads who showed up to hide from the sun in the shelter of the trees on Saturday. Geoff, Shane, Rory, Chris, Mike (just in time for the food). We got heaps done (i'll get the pics up later).

With the addition of the log ride 2 exit and LG3 entrance exit, a wee link and the second bridge... it's now rideable right thru to the second bridge. To get out you'll have to push back up the track, sorry. There's still about 300m to get out Surgetank road. I'm hoping to get the PD lads onto this in the new year, working alternate saturdays.

I'm off to Canada to eat pancakes for xmas for saturday so official work will resume in Jan sometime.

Get out and ride, have fun and have a wicked xmas break

Cheers

why would i? when there is so much dirt out there without trails on it, so many hills without decents, so many thrills not able to be had, (insert further lines here)

seems to be working out at about just over 2km a year on average. which isn't too bad when the early stuff took forever. methods are improving and numbers of helpers is growing.

Afternoon All

Trust you all had a great holiday and made the most of the sun...

Seems we've had a monster growing season over the last 2 months. Before i left the track was riding sweet...now it's fairly overgrown in stages 1, 2 and 3. We'll be headed out next saturday the 2nd to do spraying. so the track will be closed for the day.
Depending on how fast stuff dies off i'll need a big olde team of people to cut and clear the trails. Not sure about dates yet but stay tuned.

Once all this is done i can start getting back into stage 4. Thanks to the trail pixies that have been tinkering over the break...nice to see

Cheers

Good stuff G. How was the cold white stuff? Hopefully this year at poly is a bit more week-night friendly so I can get up there as much as was the first year you were on the job.

Cheers man.
Good to see you out on the bike again on Sunday.

The white stuff was awesome, planning the return trip already Smile

Can i get some help on Saturday please. We'll need a few people to help move the hose over trees/logs/rocks etc as we're spraying the track. I'm hoping to spray right thru stages 1,2 and 3 with a chance of doing the moto tracks too.

Cheers

Morning All

A huge thanks to Shane, Meredith, Mike and Rory for their massive effort on Saturday to get all of stage 1 and 2 sprayed. Extra for Shane managing to get 2 sprayers for the club too.
Hoping that in a couple of weeks it'll all start to die off and we can get in with the scrub cutters to full reclaim the tracks.

Thanks to City Forests for the chemical too

Cheers
