So what a busy few days it has been! Well sort of anyway, the last three days have pretty much just been spent trying to get over the jetlag and settling down into Scotland.

The flights were your usual, long and boring. We did how ever make the most of the free service and doubled up on all our meals and in transit in LA the time passed quicker by playing soccer with the apples...

At Heathrow airport we were stranded on the runway, landing after circling till our fuel almost ran out as there was only one runway open due to some freak accident in the morning on an aircraft. From there we landed down in Scotland 3 hours later than scheduled, but stil with enough time to admire the sweet "20 in plenty" road signs and seemingly ancient buildings.

Most of the NZ team are all here now. The hotel is miles away (20 minutes driving fast...) and instead of real food we have a fancy as 3 course meal which kind of leaves us hungry.Rode out in Glencoe on a new track that's being used for the Scottish nationals after the World Champs. It was sketchy as and I called it a day after 3 runs, deciding that I prefered to actually make it to the Worlds course in one piece! It was awesome fun though and I'd definately ride it again. The NZ team demolished the track and now they'll have fun fixing up all the holes we made...

Having a fantastic time and the event opens tomorrow!! Sweet!
