New Plymouth Mountain Bikers Club are providing a XC leg as part of the Get2Go Challenge series. Secondary schools from around Taranaki have been invited to provide teams of 8 students for a day of kayaking, rock climbing, orienteering and mountain biking.

The kayaking and rock climbing will be at the TOPEC facilities to the south of New Plymouth in the morning while the orienteering and MTB XC will be at the Mangamahoe Forest - Plantation Road just off SH3 further to the south of New Plymouth during the afternoon.
