Just came across this. Thought I would post here in case others have not seen it...

Looks to be a good idea, but I would prefer DOC to open land up for a MTB park. I think Wairarapa would be better served to have a MTB park around Masterton/Carterton area than doing this. I would think that their would be more volunteers put their hands up to help with track building etc.
However if a MTB park is out of the question and this is the only option then hope DOC go ahead

Yeah an mtb park would be great. I reckon ppl here are ready to give something like that a go. Lots of people in my year rode MX, my brother tho who is 5 years younger said there are more and more decent pushbikes turning up now.
