From time to time I see some rare or just downright strange cars, so I thought from now on I will take photos and post them ...

In a road car, I would use one word "marketing" for the reasons for 4 front wheels..

They should let it rev to 4500, see what happens! I would have thought there would be more torque than that. I just put it up because one of the Autobots in Transformers Movie is one of those!! Double Thumbs Up
4500rpm, that's be a rough ride. I would have thought that 3000rpm would be a good ceiling. But the bigger they get the slower they spin.
It also has a low compression ratio even for a turbocharged motor.
Just for comparison a proper truck (Kenworth) with 11 litre 6cyl had 425 hp with 1550 ftlb at 1200rpm
Yah

True true. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to diesel engines. I liked the one in the 1960's Hough Front End Loader I used to drive in my old job though. It was very very loud, and slow as hell, but holy parc, it had some torque. Very handy for pulling tree stumps!! Double Thumbs Up
