The main thing with Porkie people is they love to suffer. The RS your only choice is white with green/red/baby blue writing down the side, kermit the frog green and the Oh so Orange you saw. Normal 911 owners can't opt for these colors. The main thing in Porki circles is they insist on paying more for less. This can take on some over the top measures when you consider the driver is a white, middle aged male with a banking/accouting background. One example is the badge on the bonnet is a sticker on the RS rather than a normal badge.

Top gear has had the GTR featured on two episodes of the latest season, very very quick round the top gear test track, from memory it was in the top quarter or the list, faster the 911, 430 etc. Seems its far better than both at less than half the price.

The lastest episode had the Gumpert Apollo, ugly as sin, but the new fastest car round the test track.

no sound insulation, no AC, no carpets, thinner windscreen (I think) plastic windows, CF panels, no electric windows etc etc.

As for the colours: If I was buying one (unlikely) I would get the white with baby blue writing or the kcuf OFF I AM ORANGE AND ANGRY LIKE A GINGER CAT colour.

The GTR for $160k ready to rock is a bargain!!

There should be a new GT-R in chch at some stage. Mr Gun City has brought one to add to his skyline collection.

Pitty the new corvett beats the GT-R arround the Nurburgring Sad

Looks like it's going to be a little over $100K US, so about $140k NZ.

Not too bad considering

Apparantly there are only two optional extras, leather interior and crome wheels. They are on top of the base price.

Has the RHD law been intrduced here already? I remember them talking about it.
Its sad really as the conversion would lose you more money when/if you went to sell it.

*edit* I think it has, was one of the reason a mate of mine decided against bringing in a C6 Vette.
