Bay of Plenty Trail Conditions

Rotorua 26th Novposted 9 days ago by Jeff
Weather is warm and clear, trails tacky after some rain on Monday. Extended play shuttles till 6pm starts this Sat Oct 29th

Rotoruaposted 20 days ago by pushbikerider
Trails in good condition, nice and dry, rolling really well

Rotorua, Nov 4thposted 31 days ago by Jeff
We've had a bit of drizzle today, but it's been fine for just over a week, so I expect the trails will soak it up. The shuttle will be running tonight (Tuesday), 5.15pm Burger Fuel, 5.30 Waipa carpark, 4-5 uplifts before dark!

Check out the new trail called Turkish Delight that runs through the middle of the Soakhole track block, start either off Katore Rd near the ponds, or near the bottom of Eastern Spice (turn-off is signposted). Turkish crosses the Soakhole track a few times (all signposted), take care at these intersections. This is a great track to combine with Eastern Spice and the Exit Trail for a long mellow downhill run, or after you've climbed up Lion Trail or Pig Track, head down Turkish and then down the Exit track.

ROTORUA RIDE REPORT: 7am, The Rotorua shuttle is not running this morning Sat 25th Oct, due to the volume of rain overnight. Provided the weather fines up this morning we will run at 1pm.

Trails will be muddy this morning, but expected to dry up quickly over the weekend

Trails riding great today. Little bit of surface water still around from recent rain so slippery in isolated places. Care should be taken on lower half of Rollercoaster as trees have been felled across trail, with a couple of hike-a-bike sections to negotiate.

Trails are a mud slide due to heavy rain. Very entertaining

Tauranga/ Oropiposted 53 days ago by Mr_Bob
Work has been done on the lower switchbacks,
A new section of trail has been cut into the switchbacks on the up trail.
Trails are firm, dry, and rolling great.
Get out there and ride {Double Thumbs Up}

Trails are dry and tacky, perfect spring riding conditions.
Shuttle is on today

Rotorua 10th Oct Amposted 56 days ago by Jeff
The skys have cleared this morning after a couple of days of spring crazy weather. Expect the trails to be a bit muddy, but forecast is looking good right through the weekend. Shuttle running today.

Rotorua Wed 8th Octposted 58 days ago by Jeff
The shuttle will run today from 1pm, if it stays fine this morning. We've had 3 days of rain, so even this afternoon the trails will be slippery. The forecast is looking ok, mostly fine, with a few showers.

Rotorua Mon 6th Octoberposted 60 days ago by Jeff
It's been raining since Sat 4pm pretty steady. Everything is pretty wet and muddy, forecast for clearing Wed. Shuttle not on today

Rotorua 4th October 7.30amposted 62 days ago by Jeff
The shuttle is running today Saturday 4th October. The whaka 100 race is on today, but will not effect the shuttle. The trails are pretty dry after a week with little rain. The forecast isn't so good from Sunday afternoon on, so get out there today and enjoy it before it's wet!

Southstar Shuttle is running today Sat 27th September. The trails are dry after a week with no rain, weather is bluebird, so get out there. Stefan Bennett has sawed the trees that were across Tuhoto Ariki and the PD crew have been working on the top half of the jumps track turning ruts into smooth goodness. Also check out the new Corners track - a 15 minute downhill grade 3 starting where the Jumps track crosses Hill Rd.
