Just an update on Te Miro.
The Gates and Fences have been repaired to help keep out the MX riders 
PD could do with a clean up as could all the others apart from the Staircase and Native to Goblin.
Anyone else have something to add dig days, rides or info about the place. Let us all know 
*edit* As a side note whos digging on the staircase? Just wanting to know why they are removing corners making jumps that block the old trail in places.

I'd pretty much given up out there, but if people are riding the trails, and people are willing to dig, I'll happily join in

It should improve some now that the MX riders will find it harder to get it I would really like to see some kind of loop (of trails) out there to ride as a start.
Yeah skippy might be a plan.

One more time:
Just spoke to Rex.
There will be a organized ride out there Wednesday nights at around 6.30pm
Tonight if anyone is keen they will be out there marking stuff that they want cleared Meet around 6.30pm at the lake carpark.
Money from the council will be put in to Keeping out the MX riders(Fines for anyone that rides out there), Sparying the tracks to keep them clear.
Will also be a PD gang going out there to help maintain stuff.
Things that they are going to do are tidy up the trails that are already running. Find and clear some of the older trails that have been lost from the logging, clearing the access tracks and having the trails sparyed every 3 to 4 months.
Whats needed from everyone is to ride out there, report any damage or MX riders. Not sure to who yet.
Not moan that they are not making trails that you want to ride, to be heard you will need to help and speak up.
Stop the random digging, removal of trees and NO MAKING HUCKS. If you must dig and make hucks keep it over by the DH track. They would rather nothing dangerous tho.

Apparently there's a ride meeting at RnR at 5.30 on Wednesday, so I think I'll go with that plan, and then run into others out there.
