Plan for Sat 14th July...

Ok weather is looking good enough for action.
We will be working on the Container from about 10 - a hammer and nails day so bring those types of tools if you can. If too many people show will send a few up the race track to do some maintenance on the lower berms, or help Adrian with maintenance on the freeride track. There will be no work on Jawbone.

Cheers

Righto - there will be a dig day up at long gully tomorrow (25 August). The weather will be mint - mark will be working down on the race track, and I'll be working on jawbone (which has a bunch of stuff to get it rideable to the bottom for summer).

I'll be up there from about 9:30am, and we'll probably go until close to lunchtime, when we'll have a bit of a practice session, or maybe some shuttled runs depending on who turns up.

See yer there...

Terawhiti club ride

Well the Weathers acting like it was predicted and turning pretty parcpy.
The wind speed out that way looks pretty nasty and the prediction is for Rain.

So Officially Im going to cancel this event , but if people want to brave the weather and go out there on the off chance it might get better then thats fine.

JUST REMEMBER to close all gates when leaving!!

Hopefully we can reschedule this event for a couple of weeks time.

Cool

Should be. The only real deciding factor is how slippy the road down to the airstrip is.

Generally it's between 9 and 9:30am up on the race track- we usually start at the top and work down.

We've got plenty of tools up there, so no need to bring your own. Unless you're particularly attached to your personal grubber or something.

Mike is going to be leading some sorting out on jawbone (around the switchbacks). And I suspect that mark will be doing something with the race track - there are a few bits that need some fettle-ing.

The dig which was planned to go ahead tomorrow is CANCELLED.

The access road from the airstrip to the bottom of Jawbone has partially collapsed. Therefore we cannot gain access to the bottom of the track. It is possible that the road will be unavailable next weekend also, but keep an eye out for further information.

We will still be digging next week at the normal time. If Jawbone is still out of action, we will have a go down the other tracks.
