Just in case anyone was interested.
I was part of the 700C’s of pain team that came 5th at the Cateye 24 in the open grade, 8th (or was it 7th?) overall. Seeing as we were on bikes without suspension or gears, and on 700C wheels, and were a rider down after the first 10 hours – not bad result
The team name was truly earned on a course that was very bumpy on the fire road down sections, leaving the normally ‘hard men’ of SS racing (Slacky and Honeymonster) both in rather broken states at the end of the event.
Good event though.
Oh yea, caught up with Yak. he has the primo place with lake views and is keen to come up some time to see how the Haki is developing.

lance said you were due for a visit. Heaps of the "out the back" trails have gone old skool vegas - like BRNT before it became everyones fav and got over ridden. A really good place to explor now with heaps of new stuff every time I'm down there
like here but on a much larger scale. . . .
will get back on the tools this weekend and build a few more meters of trail this weekend

Canada in November doesn't really sound too bike friendly. But I'm going to Toronto anyway so there is the option of flying back with a stopover in Vancouver for a looksey.
