Yes, well
Pics say it all really...

Now the question is what to do about a bike?

1. Sell the bits (new in November - Nixon Super, deore, hayes mags, wtb speedisc)
Any interest in a complete build kit minus frame? Sell for $1100.

2. or buy a new frame and put the bits on it.

Then what sort of frame? I was thinking maybe a trailstar LT - can pick up a 2nd hand one for around $200 then come out not too bad for the experience

Thats a mightly big crack there. I think it would be worth just buying a new frame rather than going to all the trouble of selling and then buying a whole new bike if you want to keep biking in the near future.

Good effort. Yeah I would go for a nice DMR. May I ask Nick, how the hell did you manage that?

Oh, let me guess, you hit a tree?

And to quote the drunk chick off 40 year old virgin "That kcufer came outa nowhere!"

crashed (but that wan't the problem), then sliding along the ground still on my bike. front wheel/fork hit a tiiiiny little stump and she was all over. I didn't even do it in style Sad

I kept riding (better than walking) and it eventually seperated. The stick was holding it together so it was easier to carry.

DMR switchback (as in pic) (hardtail)

Looking for something MORE solid to take 145mm Nixons

I do have a jump bike to keep me riding so I would consider selling the bits IF I could get enough for them. Someone may have a frame they are wanting to build up?

No links to second hand ones. But if you are super keen check out www.bikehq.co.nz They stock them, don't know if anyone else does. If you want a DJ frame may I point you in the direction of FOXRACING as he might still have a mint condish one for sale?

Other than that...

what frame is it do you know? Nixon's aren't really for DJ's though. I have a cheap thrash bike for that.

But then again, if it's the right frame it might just be a tough trail rig Smile

re. the yeti or market for bits? or both?

Yeti only have full sussers or a dirt jump frame (bike hq anyway)

so far we have offers of a stealth ('05) or a coyote dual slalom
