Hell yeah that was a good build day today, photo's don't do it justice, those last two photo's show that the bottom of ressurection is now ridable again, just watch out for the bog section after the 2 stumps still more work to be done there.
Just a note to the person building jumps on the new track, can you PLEASE NOT!! thanks i would prefer your building efforts to be put into finishing off the track. Jumps WILL be put into place once track is fully ridable top to bottom, turn up on sundays to help. CHEERS.

na it actually folds around heaps, we just have to build the exit better because of the drains coming in from the high side, but should be good thou and it wasn't too wet, nice and manageable alot of the water came from the sod's that we brought in to pack the end of the berm

who are you quinsta ???? never saw you up there building trails years ago when it all started so why should they talk to another johnny come lately !you might not be there next year. And as you said before " you are using some old xc tracks to build some of our DH tracks.Should you not of asked them first ?.Just go lightly dude they have been there longer than us and they are doing it for the family rider. All our DH tracks at some point are going to cross a up track on a family trail , unless we get a chair lift built.....think about it man, we go straight down 3 ridges to the bottom , there going to cross at some point dude.Look at the bigger picture...we can have some narly north shore at the crossing points and we dont have to pay for it dude.Wake up man smell the coffee , we need to work together not moan on vorb.Yes I have ridden your trail and its not the end of the world its happened to me before....ship happens ..build a bridge.

Hi fullsusRULES
You may want to check out the whangarei news section, as this will explain a few things that are happening with the trails and the club.
it seems that we are in for some big changes now, how it pans out is going to be interesting but when you have at least half a dozen guys dedicated to promoting and building DH tracks...it now seems very logical to work within a new council structure so that we are jointly promoting all forms of mountain biking. i have a single speed, XC, and DH bike and i enjoy all these types of MTB.
The council always (hopefully) looks at all the stakeholders in making decisions, so hopefully we can all work together towards a multi purpose MTB park...i.e. like Woodhill MTB Park...it it will be free.

Yeah pete , went up today, they have started the car park, it hasn't encroached on our track and they only need to rip up a short section of ressurection to lay a drain down, otherwise it looks good

Build this Sunday 8am (rain or shine parapie ) going to work on the lower section of ressurection to smooth it out, shovels barrows and spades, plus we may have to just tidy up the drain area that the digger has made where it crosses our track.

Good build today Josh and i got the final berm tidied up cleared out the drain and built a temp bridge at the exit of the berm. Got the old bridge lowered and tidied up and built up the berm after it got rid of the wet patches. Tideied up the kicker of the last table too, looking good, now just need a week of the fine weathers and give it a ride.
PS Carpark is looking good, pretty big. Good work PMC
