Alarm remote button is bung so it sometimes works(Not good with an armful 'o goodies in the rain).

12v battery is on it's last legs.

Jumping out of 5th gear again but a quick look by another ex Nissan mechanic(support your local BNT)indicates it might be a couple of bushes outside the gearbox that guide the shifter cables so hopefully not catastrophically expensive.

Air con is bung, I think it may have lost gas during the engine swap.
