Hmmm I hope they are. I am about due another set!

After burping a Nobby Nic 2.4 a few times I am ready to go back to a semi UST tyre!

I really like the Captain for what its worth Smile

Very similar in tread pattern to a Maxxis Advantage (if I recall correctly)

Those crazy light things that are on your SS are similar to the advantage, the captains are a bit different.

hmmm they are still up on the specialized website. Are they stopping making them, or stopping bringing them into NZ?

Looking at the tread pattern of the Captain I would rather have some eskars... might see if i can buy some from someone that still has them in stock...

Noooo - my fav tyre gone too!

I had Captain's on before PBR recommended I try the Eskar. - (I think I am right) - this tyre is slightly heavier and more towards freeride than the Captain. Anyway - I have this tyre on the front and I love it...

Will need to look for suitable replacement in due course Sad
