16" sounds like somewhere between small-medium to me.
I think HDC had an On-one frame a while ago that was 14" (maybe?)
I would think it would be Ok for you Catherine, better to be slight too small than too big, you will be running 100mm XC stylez stem anyway, layback seatpost and you're all set.
You know you want it . . . . |
I do in fact still have a relatively blinged out SS based on the on one. I got sick of tripping over the bits so built it up one weekend. it goes pretty good.
having said that I have waaaaay too many bikes so if you want to deal on the built bike or the frame or whatnot let me know. I can't get to the motorbikes without tripping over bloody pushbikes! I will chuck up a pic n such.

What about a blinged out 16" Kona Unit - the proper OX Platinum tubed one with Carbon Sid World Cups, Ti BB, Ti Flite saddle, Magnesium V-brakes, lots of Raceface etc?

Mine is a 16" Kona Unit. How much taller than me are you OC? Its quite compact, I'd probably consider longer if I was much taller.

Make me an offer - it has done 1002 kms since new - other highlights include a genuine 'Frog Racing' front hub (there is a little test for those who think they know about bling)

It has a Raceface XY post with one-inch of offset, so it is effectively a 17" frame with loads of standover.
One of those nice engraved RF DH rings...
Crank Bros eggbeaters...
Orange stripes on the sidewalls of the tyres to match the frame...
Orange valve caps even...
