The bike shop told me each one would cost $20-$30 to replace, which together would be more then i originally paid for ... |

| Loose bearings would be preferable as theirs no cage to break. I won't be taking it apart/changing the forks very often so that won’t be an issue. I just wasn't sure if there was any reason the cage ... |

The rubber cages that hold the bearings in the top/bottom parts of my 'fsa impact' integrated headset have split - the top in 2 places and the bottom (which is pictured) in about 6 places.
