| riding since the sport emerged late 80s - 90s, Owned one of the first competition Aluminium bikes in Whakatane. Rode Great Barrier Island, 6 foot track and many more, carried the bike up several mountains. I think we owe it all to the 'Sidewinder' a heavy multi geared bike of the 80's probable the first 'MTB' as it were. I am now 50 but have plenty more good years. |
