Craig there is a special place in nuttsville with your name on it.

World record! That is class. World class!

I am actually quite in awe of that effort

He's planning on going off road. I was surprised at how well he was going on those last 12 or so laps I was with him.

Wicked effort aye. :)

Whatta loose unit

So, if I wanted to do this in Wellington I would have to do 20.2 reps of to the Hawkins Hill Airways Radar Dome from the bottom of Brooklyn Hill (437m elevation difference - http://www.strava.com/segments/7162638). This does have some small drop in places so it would be safe to assume 20 reps would give me the required elevation gain...

Yeahnah...I once did a ride with about 2000m of climbing, my fufu valve was well and truly blown

you would be better off doing 24.6 reps to the windmill at 4.7km, 115km vs 168km (times 2 for the return).

.......Double Everest time?
Or one blindfolded?

I'd like to know how fast one of the top grand tour guys could do it - Quintana or Nibali or something.

daddy why does that man keep riding past?

I knocked on one door because the vehicle parked outside had a rasdex sticker on it and I thought you might have been there. The lady asked what Craig was doing and I said Everesting and she said "HA! I told you!" to someone in the background. She knew what it was which was quite cool.

It's not every day I wake up and look at Stuff to find myself as the cover story!

Here is the article for those who didn't see it online or in The Press

Come on all you climbers, let's see some more Kiwis on the Everesting leader board

Great stuff, Craig! It must take a will of steel to ride the same climb so many times, so good on you.

Excellent stuff Craig and good article in the paper.
I would be keen to take up the challenge but sadly I do not think Perth has any steep enough hills :sly:
