I find the best way is to place around six strong zip ties in the grip evenly spaced out with the head facing out. Push the grip against the end of the bar with the zip ties spaced out evenly between the grip and the bar. Push and twist the grip onto the bar until it is fitted where desired. Slowly pull out zip ties with a pair of pliers making sure the head of the zip tie doesn't snap off. So much easier than forcing it on, this is the only way I put grips on.

That sounds like a bunch of arse to me

You must have even softer girly hands than me?!! Did you use any lube?* I used window cleaner (assuming that the sudsyness would be a help for getting them on) and it wasn't too bad. I did grunt, grimace, and answer a text message part-way through though.* But I haven't had any slippage yet.*

Maybe, but the instructions with the ESI Grips recommends using alcohol or window cleaner.

But what do they say to use on the grips :D

Fair enough, hairspray may melt the grips....

Yes and yes. I now have multiple blisters on my hands however the grips felt nice on my epic ride to and from work.

Saved 60g off my lockons too.

nah- just added another bike to the collection. I ride a rigid SS, hardtail and fully at least once each a week.

Nothing like mixing it up a little.

edit: oh the name? hahaha. well it just sounded like i liked riding with a boner so it had to go :p (i mean i do but that is besides the point)

wait a mo - aren't they made of silicone rubber, the exact same stuff as 'adult toys' ( ;) ;) ;) ) are made of. In that case break out the KY!

why do I have visions now of slacky riding with interesting grips complete with realistic veins now
