Mono didn't mention loss of control that I could find?

And he does ride in the rain, mud, day, night. In fact he sleeps while riding !!


But anyway I reckon the Esi grips have more grip when wet/muddy than ODI Ruffians and probably ODI Intense grips as well.

There might be lighter gripper stuff about, perhaps somebody can put their hand up if they have had the experience?

Dude you must be doing them up WAAAAY too tight, grease the bolts and just tighten them until you can't twist the grip.

I concur, they only need to be just nipped up.

Surely that depends on which tape you use? I know several pro-elite XC steezers who have used tape for years...

I sure the type of tape does matter. My main failing was that I used white tape so it was seriously unstlylish after 1 ride.
