Erg

Postby Neub on Mon 16/Mar/09 9:47pm

I don't know much about anything but I understand an ERG is the way to go for indoor training. Does anyone out there know of a second hand ERG for sale? Do they all have power meters on? How does that work?

Tacx Satori wind trainer. Cheapest model that provides adequate resistance. The $2500 BT ergs are nice but overkill unless trying to win World Titles. Gydey informs me that the Vinkanator didn't do any erg sessions leading into a very successful National Track Champs. No ergs come with power. They have a speedo that gives an approx power using a conversion chart. Talk to Brent Harris about the indoor training sessions he does. Pretty evil. I have some really good ones myself.
