Just got an amplifier for my guitar, and it hasn't just got a headphone socket, oh no - it's got an EMULATED headphone socket!!!! Same with the 'line out' - thats emulated too!! I would regard myself as the luckiest man alive if I only knew what it meant. So, I know what 'to emulate' means as an infinitive verb, 'emulated' as a past tense regular verb etc, but what does it mean in this context? Anybody out there know?
Also, I would like to start using it regularly to impress my dwindling number of friends - just waiting for the cocktail party invites to start rolling in...
