National will get in again. Stressful times usually favour the incumbents, and labour haven't got much talent on offer this time around.

Not that it really matters, the forces shaping the big events in this country at present are outside any governments control, and labour/national are almost identical at the best of times.

Watching some of the minor parties grow or implode will be more interesting.

Nope. Just sick of noobs thinking they're funny while completely ignoring the wider picture.

since a political debate/discussion/rant/mutual-abuse-session on vorb is pretty much the 3rd-last place to get worthwhile information or opinions (behind trademe forum and online dating discussion boards) who gives a rats?

this is kinda cool to provoke some thought...
http://www.informationisbeautiful.net/blog-html/leftvright_world.html

i know which way i'll vote, but i also know that's gonna be like flushing the vote down the toilet... ie, it'll probably come up in someone elses back yard, or seep through to pollute the river.

IMHO National are ploughing this country into the back of a parked car, meanwhile lining their (and all their mate's) already bulging pockets with more cash,
but alas, Labour have no charismatic leaders on the cards so the general voting public, most of whom have no fucking idea what's going on most of the time anyway, will vote for "that nice man Mr Key".

Best vote for the smiling assassin with half a clue, than for the clueless drip who couldn't lead his way out of a paper bag.

...and that's coming from an anti-Nat. Why the fuck anyone would vote Labour apart from them being the traditional vote is beyond me.

Eggsackery.

I think the voting papers need a 'None of the above" box, or in other words, "None of you useless lepers"!! :D

But its not gonna happen, cos the papers are written by the aforementioned useless lepers. :hmmm:
