If only the previous government hadn't given away 1 billion in tax breaks to high earners and another 1.4 billion to South Cunterbury dumb arse suckerz investors, the current Govt would have balanced the books. To be fair that one's well and truly on successive governments on both sides for being shit at monitoring what the finance industry were up to. And the bailout scheme's on both Labour and National.
