I used to be able to eat a whole cheesecake when I was in my prime, jeez this healthy eating instigated by my wife has meant I'm out of touch

No need to feel bad, I used to be able to eat a whole pizza no worries at all. Mind you, I wasn't going biking afterwards, it doesn't really matter what you eat if all you're going to do is sit on the couch and drink beer.

I could demolish a whole pizza, with wedges and beer, and follow it up with a good quantity of cheesecake, and some wine, then a few coffees, and then head off to work for the day, eager for morning tea!

just done the same, brownie at cezanne in ponsonby..... now got to go and lay a massive brownie to ease the pain......

but you need the extra food for all the oxygen deprivation you get at your altitude.

I don't believe you, the thought of cheesecake for breakfast is revolting.

I went to the dentist for first time in 4 years today.

Would have been a lot fucking cheaper to buy and fit a new head.



But after an afternoon of saying no more sweet stuff, I fell off the wagon and hunted for stuff in the kitchen. Ended up with a piece of lemon cake from about 4 months ago I had gladwrapped and hidden in the freezer. It tasted ok to start with, but I stopped enjoying it quite quickly. On top of it being a bit sugary, I couldn't stop thinking "old cake".

I can't believe I even bothered to post this.

Actually yes I can.

If you don't want that old cake, can I have it please?

That whole post made me laugh so much my phlegm rumbled (swine flu).

Ahhh, Cezanne's. I often used to take women there for first dates and buy them lunch.
Conversation and watching them eating was a good test for me whether I would ask them out again = not often.
