hi everyone :-)

im comin down for the nats dh race on the 29th n have never been down this way before so i m after any advice on where to stay, wat the tracks like, how far from town the track that sorta thing. im flying in so wont have n e transport around n dont wana spend $ on n e taxis so n e one who can help me out would be much apperciated!!!!!!!!!!

If you're flying in, then you will have to catch a taxi or shuttle into town because the airport is around a half hour drive out of town in the middle of nowhere! You should be able to catch a shuttle from Dunedin airport into town for around $30 though.

Whereabouts are you staying in town? Signal Hill is within riding distance of town, although if you want to ride the track a few times without someone to shuttle you up, it's a bit of a push up the hill or a long ride on the road to get to the top.

might be able to pick you and a bike up from the airport or my parents might (they live 5 min away from there), what day and time your flight.
As for a bed we have 2 spare rooms with beds and your welcome too one (we are in concord which is a ten min drive from Logan park (bottom of the DH track). Im hoping to get the friday off work to head to practice day and help out the dunners crew with transport or marshalling and Im def going to be going to the DH on the sat to do the same thing....
