I am glad to see that you are hitting this unfortunatness with a great attitude man. I had a crash about 2 years ago now and disalligned two vertibrae in my neck. I was really lucky according to the doctors.

This is pretty much what I'm looking at getting either imported from the U.S or try and get a bunch of guys together to build me one in NZ. I've got plenty of keen people wanting to help. I just need help with some funding to get this project on the go.

How much is it going to set you back all up?

I've read that you can pick a 'Spyder' up for around $5,500 U.S. I'm guessing that would be a starting price. So wether thats' with the new fox shock and hope disc brakes I'm not sure. I've contacted the maker but am yet to hear back from them. The web-site is www.paraprosracing.com

Hey all, well the progress of getting a downhill chair is slowly coming into its own. I've managed to hook up with an engineer that is really keen to get something together for me. It seems its going to be a matter of what I need as opposed to what he can make. This is gonna be like a f**kin 'monster garage' project I can see it now. Well will keep pushing and nagging these guys to get the show on the road, and I'll let ya's know all about it.

I'm back in wanganui now after 3months in hospital, it's great to be out!!
