Go Wiggins
Showed that cuddles a thing or two! And as for Andy Schleck - he should just like, pack up and go home man.

TDF's gonna be a goodie, if Wiggins can avoid injury etc between now and then...

I still don't rate Wiggo as a rider who can win the Tour.

if you compare his performance to the last couple of years, he has definitely moved up a level.. but as Tugboat says.. can he win 3 weeks? where it is just as much about your natural ability to recovery and minimise your bad days.

Inner Ring presents an interesting blog on AS comparing his form now to previous seasons and implying that his build up to the TdF is similar to last season.

Quite a few interesting and well reasoned comments as well.

http://inrng.com/2012/06/andy-schleck-d ... omparison/

One interesting comment on the 2010 TdF:

The fight between Contador and Schleck was so close and so fiercely fought I think many fail to appreciate just how far ahead of the other GC riders they were. He put almost 7 minutes into Van Den Broeck and almost 10 into Gesink. I’m listening to Horner when he says, if Andy can climb like he did in 2010 then he can still win in 2012.

Admittedly Gesink and VDB have matured since then, but it does put AS's ability into perspective.

I think this race has shown that there are many riders who can podium at TDF..and there are others who have chosen not to ride this race.

Not sure about Wiggans in TDF...Sky are so precious..that a small issue could break their main man..he appears fragile ..but hey..he has the potential to win it...

Im really impressed with some guys for my sweepstake team..and will be interested to see how Tugboat seeds the top 20 who we can only pick 3 from..as there are contenders who either failed or crashed out last year :-) As soon as I see the start list Tugboat I will get my team in ...and beat that Bianchibitch...

I just get really excited about having a contender from one of my home countries, NZ isn't gonna give me one of those this year so at least Wiggo gives me someone to back :D

Haha.. Funnily, Jens Voigt pointed out on twitter today that a lot of the guys who are in good form for the Dauphine struggle in the 2nd half of the Tour. Big difference between the 1 week races and the 3 week ones!

That man needs more than an aero hump to win the Tour this year.

Maybe it's a backpack, and he's commuting home from work?

WTF is up with Schlecklet? He got to the top of the HC Le Grand Colombier with the peloton ok but was then dropped sufficiently on the descent to never make contact again. Fucking muppet. :hmmm:

Gonna be interesting seeing team Sky tactics for TDF, Wiggo and Cavendish both in the same team, hmm...

That is one of Cadels definite advantages. Although from Joux-Plane seems like Sky only needs a couple of people to outdo all of BMC, that was embarrasing.
