In two of those cases it was a cyclist riding across a gap made for cars turning.... they should have perhaps been a bit more cautious.

or the idiot doing the turning should have been a bit more careful. not to mention the idiot in the car that left the gap, should have checked their left side mirror for any cyclists on the undertake... heesh. why is it always the fucking cyclist's fault!@?

I knew what you meant, but given the speed the traffic moves along there in the am it's entirely possible that when s/he left the gap there was no cyclist in the rearview mirror.

Not a good scene at all. That's what happened to Jono Gee & Hayden Godfrey isn't it?

I fell into the river to day when my rear wheel slid out on a peice of single track along Banks Ave road, does that count as a crash?

No u r
Ultimately, it's up to the car crossing the gap whether he should go for it or not.
If you close up the gap because you see a cyclist coming, are you gonna back up to create the gap again when said cyclist has gone through?
Would like to see you come up with that excuse if you get ticketed for blocking traffic.

Did someone rudely leave a gap for others to get through and crash into you?

There's some gnarl roots along Banks Ave singletrack... in the wet ...

True true. totally up to the guy doing the turning and hitting...

if the traffic is crawling, then 'theoretically', like, by the law, bikes should be overtaking the cars... just like mr brutalfreeride says!
